2019 Florida Fishing Tournaments
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he wont stop.” – Every Fisherman Ever
Fish with the best in Florida
Whether you just started fishing or it’s your lifestyle, most can agree that fishing is one of the best outdoor activities out there. Not just because of the excitement you feel when you get that bite, but also because of the community. Fishing isn’t necessarily a solitary activity – half the fun is sharing your triumph with your friends, and for some of us, it’s about competing.
Tournaments are a great way to do exactly that. You get plugged into an awesome community of fishermen, with plenty of variety like inshore and offshore, junior or adult, relaxed or competitive. Northeast Florida has an abundance of tournaments around every corner. Our very own Dave Workman Jr. has competed in over 400 tournaments, winning the coveted Angler of the Year three times, placing him into the S K A Hall of Fame. Your can learn more about Dave and the Strike-Zone team by clicking here.
One important aspect of tournaments is making sure you are well prepared! Be sure to have all of the proper gear you need so you can make sure no fish get away. Check out our store on Beach Blvd or our online shop for all of the top fishing, hunting, and outdoor gear to make sure you are on top of your game! In the meantime, you can engage with the local fishing community by registering in a tournament today.
Here are some upcoming tournaments that we recommend.
